S3E Engineers has a large portfolio of operations and maintenance facilities. These projects have included new facilities, renovations, additions, and temporary facilities.
David F. Bone Equipment Maintenance & Transit Operations Center
A $84 million project consisting of a campus of 13 buildings including administrative buildings, bus parking for 200 buses, bus and truck service lanes, bus wash facility, fare collection area, bus service maintenance bays, parts room, heavy equipment storage, compressed natural gas fast-fill, gasoline and diesel fueling stations, and employee and visitor parking.
A pilot project, which is the first in the State of Maryland, reclaims, treats, and reuses rainwater for toilet flushing and bus washing, reducing water use by 80 percent. Seventy five percent of the building roofs, more than four acres, have green roofs to decrease stormwater runoff.

Seven Locks Technical Center
A truck maintenance facility including service bays with radiant floor heat, truck wash, a materials testing laboratory, kitchen, locker rooms, and administrative offices.
